Our client, a global specialist in energy management and automation, is actively looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Fairfield, OH! This role is onsite so local candidates are required.


***This is a 1 year initial contract with the opportunity to extend or convert***


Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with a deep understanding of the intricacies of production processes? Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who's passionate about optimizing manufacturing operations, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring product quality. Responsibilities

  • Be an expert in various facets of production and manufacturing, including process design, ergonomics, capacity analysis, simulation tools, investment strategies, and cost analysis. Your comprehensive knowledge will be instrumental in streamlining internal manufacturing processes.
  • Play a pivotal role in leading and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, making manufacturing operations more efficient and effective.
  • Actively engage in Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to ensure that manufacturing processes consistently meet and exceed internal quality standards.
  • Be at the forefront of product development! You'll be a vital contributor to the development of new products, focusing on manufacturability and feasibility, helping to bring innovative solutions to market.
  • Assess the feasibility and profitability of investments tailored to internal manufacturing needs.
  • Manage the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system by keeping material, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and routings up-to-date, ensuring seamless coordination with the Engineering team.


Required Skills & Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field
  • 2+ years of professional experience working in a Manufacturing focused role
  • Knowlesge of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Proficiency in Excel, Macros and Tableau is essential to leverage data and technology for manufacturing optimization
