What you’ll do as a Supervisor:

• Manage the sanitation of the plant, interior and exterior
• Organize and lead sanitation crew efficiently and effectively
• Monitor plant, equipment, and parts for cleanliness and proper sanitation
• Track trends to identify areas of improvement and actions to improve these areas
• Accompany USDA inspector during pre-op inspections
• Participate in 3rd party and regulatory audits
• Conduct safety and educational training
• Manage inventory and order sanitation supplies
• Assume personal responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for everyone
• Adhere to Quality work practices, follow all GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality is maintained
• Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety and quality

What you need to be a Supervisor:

• 3+ years in a leadership role, preferably in the food or manufacturing industries
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and in group situations
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions
• Understanding and the ability to write SSOPs
• Knowledge of chemicals and chemical usage
• Working computer knowledge specifically in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
