As a Client Account Executive, you'll be the go-to person for online and phone support, helping clients and vendors with everything from posting and managing bids to entering insurance records and contracts. You'll need a good grasp of basic procurement practices and policies, and you'll use your excellent communication skills to guide customers through the system, explain its functions, and troubleshoot any issues.
You'll also be responsible for resolving client inquiries about the procurement process, delivering outstanding customer support over the phone and email, and ensuring clear and effective communication. But that's not all! You'll get to present demonstrations and webinars, conduct training sessions, attend workshops, prepare proposals and articles, test new product lines, assist with marketing duties, review contracts, and tackle other exciting tasks as they come up.
Role Responsibilities
- Become a product expert and how it can solve client touch points
- Comfortably handle unexpected client issues as they arise and know when and how to bring in other team members/company leadership
- Work within teams to brainstorm new ideas and bring a fresh perspective to client events and other touchpoints with key audiences
- Excellent written and oral communications skills for continually building rapport and presenting solutions for client pain points for new and existing accounts
- Manage moderate number of incoming calls and support tickets from clients and their vendors/suppliers.
- Provide professional, outstanding, and friendly customer support that is prompt and thorough.
- Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions related to our product services.
- Record customer interactions and resolution within support ticketing system
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts
- Conduct demonstrations, webinars, and trainings
- Management new client implementation and on-boarding
- Attend events and conferences across North American when necessary
- Assist in participating in RFP’s and RFI’s including attending pre-bid meetings and writing proposals
- Contribute to Company web or print materials (Product updates, News and Events, education, or marketing materials)
- Assist Sales and Marketing Depts.
- Conduct client and market surveys, data analysis and reports
- Assist in new product testing
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned. This role will scale with the company!
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED. Associate’s Degree in business administration or business-related field a plus
- 5 or more years of public procurement experience.
- Proficient knowledge of Internet Engines including Explorer, FireFox, Chrome, and Edge; MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook; Google Suite including Google Docs, Sheets, and other tools.
- Knowledge of e-Procurement systems, Office 365 and HubSpot a strong plus
- Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to toggle between working autonomously and collaborating with a team
- Dedicated and secure remote workspace allowing for focus and minimal interruption is required
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a remote work environment.
