POSITION – General Manager - New Home Sales
We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager, Sales, to lead our new home sales team in delivering exceptional results across our residential communities. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, this leadership role will be critical in developing and executing a strategic vision for our sales initiatives while fostering a customer-first approach that enhances buyer satisfaction and community engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and execution of sales strategies for our master-planned communities, such as Windfall at Blue, Craighurst Crossing, Victoria Annex, and an upcoming project in Nottawa, ON.
Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for all homebuyers.
Mentor and motivate the sales team, ensuring a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
Analyze market trends, manage competitive insights, and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Collaborate with marketing, construction, and customer service teams to align efforts and maximize sales performance.
Build and nurture relationships with real estate agents, brokers, and other key stakeholders to increase visibility and community sales.
Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and budgets, providing clear reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Equivalent experience in sales leadership, particularly within residential real estate, may be considered in place of formal education. Candidates with a strong track record of success in the industry are encouraged to apply.
At least 10 years of sales management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in residential real estate, preferably new home sales.
Proven success in driving sales growth and meeting or exceeding targets in a competitive market.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a high-performing team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Deep understanding of the Ontario real estate market, including industry regulations and emerging trends.
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and maintain a strategic focus.
Successful background and reference check.
Legally eligible to work in Canada.
JOB TYPE
Full Time – 70K – 85K /year plus bonus
