Role Description

LHH is working with a top litigation firm looking for a Medical Defense Litigation Associate at LHH with 3-4 years experience in their Chicago office. The Associate will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks such as legal research, preparing and arguing motions, taking depositions, attending court, preparing cases for trial and second chairing trials.

Qualifications

• Extensive court experience, including drafting and arguing dispositive motions
• Extensive experience taking depositions
• Strong understanding of court procedures and litigation processes
• 2nd Chair experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
