Quality TechniciannnJob DescriptionnnWe are currently seeking a Quality Technician to join our growing team. This role will interface in a collaborative team-based environment with the Operations, Quality, and Engineering Teams.nnResponsibilitiesnnPerform receiving and inspection of incoming raw materials (25% of the time).nnSupport other Quality functions like QMS documentation, CAPA support, or validation activities (75% of the time).nnPrepare engineering and test samples.nnRecord test results and compare them to acceptance criteria.nnPrint and verify finished product labeling.nnReview and approve Product Lot Folders.nnSupport equipment installation and qualification activities.nnAssist in the development of internal and supplier-based quality plans.nnEssential SkillsnnExperience with QMS, documentation, and receiving inspection.nnProficiency with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.nnGood documentation skills.nnSelf-starter mentality and ability to wear multiple hats.nnExperience in a Quality Technician role, preferably in the medical device industry.nnSupport labeling activities.nnUnderstanding of CAPA processes.nnAdditional Skills & QualificationsnnPreferred 2-year degree.nn2+ years of experience working in a Quality Technician role.nnWork EnvironmentnnThe work hours are 8 am - 4:30 or 5 pm, with potential flexibility to 7 am - 3:30 pm. You will spend 50% of your time working with engineers testing medical devices in a cleanroom, 25% of your time on packaging quality, and 25% on other miscellaneous quality activities.
