Seeking a Director of HR for a manufacturing organization with multiple plants located near New Oxford, PA.
Essential Functions of the Job:
--Direct all HR activities for multiple plants in Mid-Atlantic Region/approximately 1200 employees
--Put a HR team together to handle all HR challenges and priorities for the organization
--Keep plants fully staffed
--Help develop leadership in the organization to create a culture where people want to work at
--Provide excellent Employee/labor Relations to employees
--Coach and guide all leaders on all people/HR issues and situations
--Develop sound HR metrics for the team and help create a climate of high accountability
--Develop the HR Team that is put in place to provide great customer service to employees and leadership
--Drive activities that increase employee engagement and reduce employee turnover
Desired Skills and Education:
--Prefer someone with 7-10 years of progressive HR experience--at least 5 years as a HR Manager
--Prefer someone from a bigger manufacturing plant or multi-plant leadership experience
--Prefer a BS in HR/Business with a Master's or MBA (not required)
--Prefer HR certification-SPHR or related certification
--Great communicator who can multi-task
--Need someone who can travel to other PA and out of state plants-mostly just a night here of there
--Need someone with a high degree of tolerance and patience
