About Roost: Roost is a cozy pub and a spot where diners can camp out with a variety of drinks and nosh on casual food created by Chef Antimo Dimeo. It will be a place where people will congregate and settle down. Roost is located on 829 N. Market Street and is opening in January 2025!
Job Summary: As a Server at Bardea Restaurant Group, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding dining experience. You will be responsible for providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service to our guests while maintaining a deep understanding of our menu and beverage offerings. Your passion for food and exceptional customer service will help create memorable experiences that keep our guests coming back.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor and a genuine smile.
- Present menus, provide detailed information about menu items, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system promptly.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests, checking in periodically to anticipate their needs.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints gracefully and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Prepare tables before and after service, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of daily specials, wine pairings, and seasonal menu items.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring all transactions are completed with attention to detail.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings is a plus.
