Our client, a well known apparel retail company , is looking for someone to join their team as a Learning and Development Specialist. This role is hybrid in Manhattan, New York.
*This is a 3 month W2 contract*
In this role, you will focus on designing and implementing training programs for emerging in store technology for the clients store teams. You will design formal classes, eLearning's, online courses and self study sessions.
What You Will Be Doing
- Consult and interact with stakeholders to gain knowledge of business objectives and opportunities to
- Create intellectually challenging and personally engaging learning experiences that integrate multiple delivery channels, including but not limited to instructor-led, experiential, online, and mobile learning.
- Assist with coordination and delivery of learning programs; manage program logistics and schedules.
- Support the selection of appropriate training and performance support elements for the solution, e.g., instructor-led training, web-based training, virtual instruction, on-the-job training, etc.
Required Skills & Experience
- Subject matter expert in Training and Adult Education Theory
- Highly skilled with eLearning and SCORM-compliant web-based development tools such as Adobe Captivate, Adobe Connect, Articulate 360, Synthesia, HTML, audio-visual technology
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Learning Management Systems and keeping knowledge up-to-date
- 5+ years of Web Design, Multimedia Training Design, and/or Instructional Design experience
