Job Title: Accounting Specialist
Location: Portland, OR
Job Details: Fully Remote (need to be located in the Portland Metro), Direct Hire, Full Time
Compensation: $25-$27 an hour DOE
Responsibilities: - Processing and reviewing paper invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of invoices.
- Reconciling vendor statements and maintaining vendor files.
- Aid with vendor inquiries, prepare and process weekly check runs, and provide support to other accounting functions as required.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records, assisting with month-end close, and accruals.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in the accounting world.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation/Benefits: $25-$27 an hour DOE
