LHH has partnered with a healthcare company in search for a Payroll Manager. If you are experienced and comfortable being the sole payroll person processing payroll for 500 employees and reporting to the Accounting Department this could be your calling. The position sits onsite in Poway and has ability to be hybrid post training. This position is going to move very quickly! If interested, I suggest applying right away.
Minimum Qualifications Of This Payroll Manager Include:
- Process payroll for approximately 500 employees including some monthly and quarterly bonuses on a semi-monthly basis
- Handle payroll-related inquiries.
- Prepare documentation for annual audits.
- Generate monthly reports for upper management.
- Set up new employees’ payroll.
- Handle manual final checks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience (multistate is preferred).
- iSolved, ADP, or Paylocity payroll software experience.
- Experienced with Excel including proficiency with VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Knowledge of payroll tax filing and compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail able to conduct timecard audits.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional communication and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
