We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration Lead to oversee and manage the data migration processes for our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data management, migration strategies, and data warehousing. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless transition of data from legacy systems to our state-of-the-art EDW, contributing to the organization’s data-driven decision-making capabilities.nnKEY RESPONSIBILITIESnnLead the data migration project from planning to execution, ensuring timely and accurate data transfer.nnCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including data architects, business analysts, and IT professionals, to define migration requirements and strategies.nnDevelop detailed data migration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.nnIdentify and document data sources, data mapping, and transformation rules.nnOversee the data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring data integrity and quality.nnMonitor migration progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.nnEstablish and enforce data quality standards and best practices.nnConduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and completeness post-migration.nnRegularly update stakeholders on migration progress, challenges, and milestones.nnProvide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.nnIdentify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the data migration framework.nnStay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data management and warehousing.nnBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELLnnIn addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
