SW Engineer-Architect

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer/Architect to lead our technical initiatives. This role is pivotal in modernizing our tech stack, tackling technical debt, and delivering scalable, maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

• Architect and implement robust web applications, APIs, and system architectures.
• Lead the migration of legacy systems to modern frameworks.
• Define and enforce architectural standards and best practices.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to the development team.

Web Development:

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs for seamless integration.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous learning.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Deep expertise in Perl, Python, PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with .NET and SQL Server.
• Experience with legacy system migration and modernization.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and BRD.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Hands-on coding skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Experience with Perforce.
