  • Responsible for planning and execution of growth plans for specific product categories.
  • Lead and champion growth of assigned product lines.
  • Be subject matter expert on assigned categories, including relevant product types.
  • Lead cross-functional matrix teams for assigned product lines.
  • Oversee cross-functional project management.
  • Develop and implement marketing objectives, strategies, and annual plans for assigned categories, aligning with overall corporate goals.
  • Manage pricing and trade spend strategies for assigned responsibilities.
  • Collaborate on budget management.
  • Monitor performance metrics to ensure sales volume, market share, and profit objectives are achieved, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Accountable for S&OP planning inputs, assumptions, and identifying risks and opportunities associated with the plan.
  • Communicate business results and insights on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, along with associated actions.
  • Develop meaningful consumer positioning for assigned product lines to create added value and effectively communicate the brand story and benefits to consumers.
  • Create strategies that drive consumer, customer, and shopper engagement, with a focus on increasing household penetration.
  • Lead innovation strategy and develop a 3-year innovation plan. Collaborate with R&D and key stakeholders to launch new, differentiated products that meet consumer needs and offer competitive value.
  • Identify growth opportunities by leveraging consumption data, market research, and competitive intelligence.
  • Develop and lead the long-term success of assigned product lines to achieve specific business goals, ensuring alignment with consumer needs and competitive dynamics.
  • Support strategic planning processes and the development of multi-year strategic plans.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and category leadership to achieve corporate objectives, secure new distribution, and implement strategies and programs effectively at the account level. Assist in developing messaging and materials for sales support.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in brand management, preferably in consumer packaged goods (CPG).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of marketing and finance principles.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with a focus on consumer and shopper insights.
  • Proven track record of meeting volume and profit targets through innovative marketing efforts.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to travel locally and/or overnight up to 40% of the time.
