Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will possess strong employee relations skills and be well-versed in recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, and HR compliance. This position is perfect for an individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to own their role in the recruiting and HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations:
  • Provide guidance on policies and procedures to employees and managers
  • Manage employee disciplinary actions and performance management processes
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to enhance employee development
  • Deliver effective employee training and development programs
  • Onboarding & Offboarding:
  • Lead new hire orientation sessions to ensure smooth integration into the company
  • Manage the offboarding process, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions for departing employees
  • Recruiting & Talent Acquisition:
  • Own the recruitment process, from posting job openings to candidate selection and hiring
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and build effective recruitment strategies
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage candidate pipelines
  • HR Compliance & Administration:
  • Assist with HR compliance tasks in a corporate or similar setting
  • Support the implementation of policies and procedures and ensure adherence to legal requirements
  • Address employee questions/concerns related to payroll/benefits as needed (familiarity is preferred, but not required to be an expert)

Qualifications:

  • Strong employee relations experience with a solid understanding of policies, procedures, and performance management
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting and talent acquisition
  • Onboarding/offboarding experience, including leading new hire orientation
  • Familiarity with HR compliance and best practices in a corporate setting
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to the HR and recruiting processes
  • Experience with ADP is a strong plus
  • Ability to effectively handle employee concerns related to payroll and benefits
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
