We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will possess strong employee relations skills and be well-versed in recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, and HR compliance. This position is perfect for an individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to own their role in the recruiting and HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations:
- Provide guidance on policies and procedures to employees and managers
- Manage employee disciplinary actions and performance management processes
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to enhance employee development
- Deliver effective employee training and development programs
- Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Lead new hire orientation sessions to ensure smooth integration into the company
- Manage the offboarding process, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions for departing employees
- Recruiting & Talent Acquisition:
- Own the recruitment process, from posting job openings to candidate selection and hiring
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and build effective recruitment strategies
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage candidate pipelines
- HR Compliance & Administration:
- Assist with HR compliance tasks in a corporate or similar setting
- Support the implementation of policies and procedures and ensure adherence to legal requirements
- Address employee questions/concerns related to payroll/benefits as needed (familiarity is preferred, but not required to be an expert)
Qualifications:
- Strong employee relations experience with a solid understanding of policies, procedures, and performance management
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting and talent acquisition
- Onboarding/offboarding experience, including leading new hire orientation
- Familiarity with HR compliance and best practices in a corporate setting
- A proactive, hands-on approach to the HR and recruiting processes
- Experience with ADP is a strong plus
- Ability to effectively handle employee concerns related to payroll and benefits
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
