Application Engineer for Technical Sales – Pensacola, FL

           As the Application Engineer to Technical Sales, you will be responsible for generally supporting ARCO products’ successful integration into preexisting systems. Largely you will deal with our OEM customers’ engineering and technician departments. On the side, you will be responsible for speaking with end-users to help troubleshoot systems. The general job duties are summarized by the outline below:

Job Duties:

·      Support Technical DC Power products (Alternator Regulator connected by Bluetooth App and High Output Alternators)

·      Ensure ARCO’s Power Products’ proper integration with customers’ systems (largely OEM-facing in the Marine and RV markets)

·      Assist sales and customer satisfaction by providing documentation, over the phone/ email communication, and updated systems design where necessary

·      Provide highest level of customer care by providing timely response to questions and systems design

·      Must be able to travel as required (less than 25%)

Qualifications:

·      Understanding of 12-48v DC systems is required

·      Electrical Engineering Associates or Bachelors a plus

·      CAN Bus understanding is a Must

·      Off-Grid RV/ Offshore Boating a plus (helps with your understanding of the customers)

·      Electrical or Networking certifications/ education preferred

·      Ability to read electrical schematic is required

·      Strong Communication skills and interest in troubleshooting DC recreational energy systems is a required

·      While reports to VP of Sales, must work well with Engineering and Technical Support

ARCO Marine offers: 

• $40,000-$60,000 salary (commensurate on experience/ knowledge)
