A top commercial and industrial solar company is seeking an experienced Senior Solar Project Manager to lead projects across multiple states, focusing on quality solar installations that drive carbon reduction.

As the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, you will manage communication and coordination to ensure efficient project delivery. This role involves overseeing a talented team of engineers, technical staff, field crews, and Superintendents, with projects ranging from 250 kW to 2.5 MW. You will ensure all EPC contracts meet scope, schedule, and gross margin targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with Superintendents and staff on pre-construction schedules, budget management, and material assembly.
• Leading weekly meetings, setting project goals, tracking performance, and driving success with clear client communication.
• Budgeting & Financial Reporting: managing project budgets ($500K–$5M), tracking costs and forecasts, and overseeing financial metrics within Sage 100.
• Subcontractor Management: screening and coordinating subcontractors, managing lead times for equipment, and negotiating supplier agreements.

We are looking for someone with a background similar to:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in commercial solar/storage with senior technical project management experience; PMP certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and EPC contracts for effective cash flow billing.
• Proven skills in schedule and budget management, team motivation, and problem-solving under pressure.
• Willingness to travel and ability to handle multiple projects with excellent communication and professionalism.
