Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000 per year + Bonus Plan

About the Role:

We’re seeking a motivated and visionary Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations at American Roller Company in Paris, AR. This role offers a unique growth opportunity starting as a Production Manager, you’ll receive personalized mentoring and training to transition into a Plant Manager . Safety, quality, and operational excellence are at the heart of this position. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement while driving Lean initiatives and building a high-performing team.

Your Key Responsibilities as Production Manager:

  • Lead by example in promoting and adhering to all safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment, and actively encouraging team members to engage in safety best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee daily production activities to meet customer requirements for quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Partner with senior leaders to learn and execute Plant Manager responsibilities.
  • Drive problem-solving initiatives and corrective actions to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Develop and implement value stream maps to optimize current and future operations.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve processes.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to streamline production and integrate new technologies.
  • Oversee equipment, tooling, and preventive maintenance to support smooth operations.
  • Manage budgets and financial goals for production lines, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop your team by setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and fostering career growth.
  • Share best practices and innovative ideas with leadership and peers to elevate plant performance.


What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • Proven track record of leading teams in a manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on safety management, incident prevention , and fostering a culture of continuous safety improvement .
  • Safety experience with demonstrated results in reducing incidents and promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of operations experience in production, planning, quality , or Lean/Continuous Improvement.
  • 3+ years of people management experience, with a proven ability to inspire and lead teams.
  • Understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing principles ; advanced knowledge or successful implementation experience is a plus.
  • Experience in urethane, rubber, or steel industries is a plus.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, project management, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and change leadership abilities to guide teams through transitions.
