Electrical Controls Engineer - Technical Project Manager
Are you ready to lead cutting-edge automation projects and collaborate with a diverse team? Our manufacturing client is growing their team and needs 3 Project Managers in the new year. Willing to look at those early in their career and/or experienced professionals. Oversee multiple manufacturing automation initiatives in the plant, working closely with integrators, operators, and plant management to ensure successful project outcomes.
What You'll Do:
- Lead Technology Integration: Utilize your expertise in inspection technologies to integrate vision systems with automation equipment on the manufacturing plant floor and improve processes.
- Engage with Clients: Partner with other client plants to understand their machinery automation needs, conduct thorough assessments, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Drive Project Success: Oversee projects from start to finish, including vendor coordination, design reviews, system testing, and on-site support during startup.
- Champion Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend enhancements to optimize our automation systems.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (robotics, automation, industrial, or manufacturing).
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing automation projects , focusing on automated machinery and equipment inspection on the plant floor.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design processes for current and future needs.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with plants, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently, open to varied schedules and travel.
