Our client working in the Non-Profit space is hiring for a Graphic Designer to join their Organizational Learning team on a 4 month contract. This opportunity is working in a primarily remote environment throughout ON.
This person will be joining a team who is responsible for creating and delivering learning programs, fostering collaboration, and staying up-to-date with workforce trends. They offer blended learning through online and on-site methods for employees, leaders, and Council members.
Role Overview: Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer creates engaging and high-quality design products to support learning and collaboration. These include:
- eLearning modules (using Rise 360)
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other tools
- Adobe Creative Suite products
- Infographics and data visualizations
- Video and image editing
The designer ensures all materials meet the organization's design, brand, and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design learning materials in various formats to promote engagement.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create effective content.
- Incorporate equity, diversity, and inclusion principles into designs.
- Review and ensure all materials meet quality, client specifications, and legal standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and recommend tools or improvements.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in graphic design or instructional technology.
- 4-6 years of design experience, including using Rise 360.
- Knowledge of web design, video editing, and accessible design (e.g., WCAG).
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and similar tools.
- HTML and bilingual skills are assets.
