Seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician for the Fort Worth/Arlington area. Contract to hire paying up to $26.00 an hour DOE.
Summary
Responsible for inspecting/maintaining all building systems and troubleshooting any issues found.
• Complete all work orders in a timely manner and provide details on work done to resolve the issue. • Walk property daily to ensure that all building mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, life safety and security systems are working properly.
• Perform PM’s on HVAC equipment.
• Perform periodic roof inspections; make sure all roof drains are always clear.
• Inspect all restrooms on a weekly basis to ensure all toilets, faucets, soap dispensers, etc. are in good working order.
• Oversee vendor work as scheduled; communicate any issues to the property manager.
• Replace damaged/stained ceiling tiles as needed.
• Replace common area lighting as needed.
• Communicate with property manager daily regarding issues or findings during daily inspections. • Complete inspection lists from property manager in a timely manner.
• Check doors to all buildings for proper operation.
• Check all exterior lighting weekly and report lights out to vendor and property manager.
• Check irrigation systems for watering times, leaks, missing heads, etc.
• Coordinate necessary repairs with appropriate vendor.
• Check elevators daily to ensure they are operating properly, and check elevators phones for proper operation at least monthly.
• Always keep all vacancies clean and showable.
• Provide submeter readings monthly as requested by the property manager.
What you bring to the table:
• Previous commercial building engineer or maintenance experience
• Ability to travel between two locations
