A local manufacturer in Raleigh is looking for a Maintenance Manager with a strong Engineering background to lead join their impressive technical team! This individual will be responsible for a team of 20, including maintenance leads, and will be the liaison between the technical maintenance team and upper management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment, as well as develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Drive continuous improvement across production lines, identify safety and process improvement opportunities, and identify capital project opportunities.
• Oversee day-to-day operations at the plant level as well as higher-level strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field a MUST
• Experience in an industrial/heavy manufacturing environment
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills & leadership and people management experience.
• Experience with Total Productive Maintenance
• Experience handling capital projects
