Title: Escrow Assistant

Start: ASAP

Reports to: Escrow Officer

Hours: 8am – 5pm

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Escrow Assistant to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ. This role is critical in ensuring smooth and accurate escrow transactions, supporting the Escrow Officer in managing all aspects of the escrow process. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, client-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Open, process, and close escrow files in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and title officers to collect and prepare required documents.
  • Review purchase agreements, title commitments, and lender instructions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications regarding escrow files, providing timely updates to all parties involved.
  • Assist with preparing escrow instructions, settlement statements, and other related documents.
  • Conduct funding and disbursement processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for each transaction, following all compliance and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Schedule signing appointments and coordinate with mobile notaries as needed.
  • Support the Escrow Officer in managing transaction pipelines and ensuring timely closings.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an escrow, title, or real estate role.
  • Proficiency in escrow software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude.
  • Knowledge of state and federal escrow regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
