Job Title: Compliance Manager
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join a dynamic team focused on maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. This is a fully onsite role where you will act as a strategic business partner and subject matter expert, driving compliance initiatives and supporting regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and requirements for foreign and alien surplus lines carriers.
- Manage oversight of all regulatory filings, surplus lines tax submissions, and state reporting to meet deadlines accurately.
- Analyze data to prepare high-quality reports and provide actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively promote a culture of compliance, supporting various business units with accurate interpretations of regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with regulatory groups, compliance teams, and management to resolve issues and provide updates.
- Maintain organized and secure files, handling confidential information with the highest integrity.
- Participate in other projects to support organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in compliance or a related field, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Property/Casualty corporate regulatory and compliance experience required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying regulatory requirements to maintain compliance.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced degrees (Bachelor's or Master's) in relevant fields.
- Familiarity with industry-specific compliance software or tools.
