Seeking a Structural Engineer for a position in our Houston, TX office. This position allows you to utilize your leadership skills and expand your career goals.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

•Provide design for structural components necessary for the development of a project.

•Perform structural wood and steel calculations for commercial and residential projects.

•Perform reinforced concrete calculations for building slabs, spread footings, retaining walls etc.

•Structural engineer shall have ability of understanding, interpreting and correctly applying codes and standards such as IRC, IBC, ASCE-7, ACI, and AISC.

•Keep up to date on new engineering processes, techniques, and IMS and standards.

Job Requirements:

•Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

oWorking knowledge of design codes such as IRC, IBC, ASCE-7, ACI, and AISC.

oShould be proficient in using analytical software and have experience using AutoCAD, RISA & Microsoft Office Suite.

Education & Experience:

o Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

o 7 plus years of experience in residential and commercial engineering.
