As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll provide a hybrid of cross-functional project management, business analysis, and organizational change management expertise to consult and drive deliverables that support the capabilities owned by the Meetings Experience domain within the Digital Workplace division.
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Business Analyst to support our client’s Choose Your Own Device (CYOD) Strategy. This innovative initiative empowers a distributed workforce to select their own devices (Windows PCs, Android tablets, MacBooks, iPads) to perform their work, with the digital experience virtualized across their chosen devices. The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in gathering requirements, analyzing key outcomes related to user experience, security, and cost efficiency, and ensuring the success of this transformative project.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with cross-functional teams, including engineering and field employees, to gather detailed requirements and feedback.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable technical requirements. Document and prioritize user stories, workflows, and processes to support virtualization objectives.
- Perform detailed analyses on user experience, performance metrics, security considerations, and cost implications.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Evaluate potential risks associated with implementation and propose mitigation strategies.
- Ensure clear and continuous communication with stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Actively engage with POC participants, providing reminders and guidance on using the tool in collaboration with training leads. Offer triage support by addressing "how-to" questions, logging issues, and routing them to engineers as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- 4+ years of experience of business operations/processes to include analysis, design, documentation, using industry best practices and standards.
- Demonstrated flexibility to adjust to changing business needs by effectively managing and prioritizing large and highly complex technology assignments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in creating technical and business documentation, including requirements specifications and user stories.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft VDIs and Azure Cloud services is a plus.
