Extrusion Technician

$25-$30 /hr DOE

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00PM - 11:00 PM

or 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

(Must be available to train on 1st shift)

CPS Recruitment is partnering with a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in East Syracuse, NY to find an Extrusion Technician to be a key player on their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Walk-through the facility and review performance data of the extrusion process equipment
• Perform maintenance on automated extrusion systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and pneumatic systems
• Assist in equipment setup and installation
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure uninterrupted operations

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology or relevant Technical Certification
• Minimum of five (5) years of technician experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with PLC controls, electrical hand tools, and precision measuring devices
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic circuits, PLC's, electrical circuits, electrical machinery, and human-machine interfaces
• Dedication to minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous production

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $25.00- $30.00 per hour. This is the reasonable estimate for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting.
