Outstanding opportunity for a driven Quality professional looking to advance in a Quality Engineer role. This person will be part of a great culture and collaborative team supporting quality initiatives with an industry leading manufacturer.

The Quality Engineer will help support and improve ass aspects of quality including the QMS, processes and procedures, work instructions, audits and inspections, non-conforming material management, production and supplier quality issues, and customer issue resolution through RCA and corrective actions. This highly visible role will interact regularly with leadership across all functional areas.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience and education. Certification(s) preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering in a non-automotive, ISO 9001 certified , industrial products manufacturing environment required. ISO 9001 Auditor a plus.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools (PFMEA, Gauge R&R, SPC, 4-Why’s, process capability analysis, control charting and Root Cause Analysis, Problem Solving Tools, etc.).
• Analytical problem solver with excellent data analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to clearly and succinctly explain technical concepts to all audiences.
• Self-directed and capable of working both autonomously and as a collaborative team member.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively support customers and suppliers.
