Our client is an award winning, well respected contractor, specializing in construction projects. Established over 20 years, they have maintained consistent growth and a fast increasing head count so it’s a great time to join them.
Due to rapid expansion of the business, they have a new and exciting vacancy for a HR Director to join their team, on a permanent basis. The company have a fantastic reputation within their field, and the successful candidate will be part of a close-knit, cohesive, supportive team.
Part of the position will be to manage a small team of HR Generalists so we are looking for a leader, somebody who is passionate about every aspect of Human Resources, the enthusiasm to ensure employee relations remain positive and staff retention kept high.
Responsibilities
- Lead development, communication, and implementation of strategic HR programs
- Advise business leaders and stakeholders, offering insights on workforce planning, talent management and organizational development
- Champion and drive a culture of high performance, innovation and accountability while maintaining operational excellence
- Manage all talent management cycles in partnership with the Comp team
- Coordinate with departments to Develop and maintain a positive employee relations strategy.
- Create initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience ensuring a positive and inclusive culture.
- Partner with Recruitment Partners and collaborate with hiring managers to support hiring demands with top-tier talent
- Support ongoing and proactively assess and recommend new HR initiatives based upon business needs

Experience
- Bachelors Degree (preferable)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior (Director/VP) HR role
- Experience leading a team of HR Generalist’s is a MUST
- Excellent communication (verbal & written)
- A competent organizer, with strong computer skills
