We are seeking an EDI-SAP Support Analyst to work closely with our SAP, EDI, IT, and Customer Service teams on various support tasks and projects. This role involves providing comprehensive EDI support related to our ERP system (SAP) and EDI applications.
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing company and user needs, troubleshooting issues, and recommending effective solutions. They will also provide training and ongoing support to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, the role involves analyzing EDI and SAP data to maintain system accuracy, preventing errors in order processing, logistics, and invoicing.
Collaboration with other departments will be a key aspect of the role, assisting with data management and resolving technical challenges. This position is critical in maintaining the integrity of our systems and supporting efficient business operations.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide EDI and SAP support in analyzing/solving technical issues
Make SAP configurations to release stuck IDOCs , Orders , Invoices and other Business transactions.
Assist Customer Service and other Depts. and external consultants in EDI/SAP requirements, analysis, business process documentation and IT specifications
Assist EDI VAN on setup of new customers or Document types
Troubleshoot/resolve issues with all local EDI transactions including 850,810,856 etc.
Analyze raw data sets and identify mapping issues or bad data.
Job Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
Preferred experience supporting EDI transactions with SAP customers.
Preferred experience with SAP transactions.
Preferred experience with the following SAP modules like Sales and distribution as well as basic understanding of the EDI interfacing tools.
General knowledge of Order to Invoice process.
Experience mapping EDI transactions.
Experience with B2B Data Integration Software.
Experience writing “How To” and training Documents.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Self-starter with ability to work with remote teams.
