Mode of interview- Telephonic/Skype

Client –Direct Client

Hybrid Job- 3 Days onsite and 2 Days remote

Need local to Maryland, District of Columbia and Virginia State only

Broadband and Digital Equity Network Engineer responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Network and Cybersecurity engineering, design, and implementation Cisco IOS - Routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, PfR, VPC, etc…)
• Load balancing/Malware/Content filtering Management Engineer, deploy and support Wireless and Wired networks.
• Perform site surveys (wired and wireless) as needed to develop and deploy wired and wireless networks.
• Reviews plans for accuracy, completeness, and content and ensures compliance with security and best practice requirements.
• Works with Information Security and Systems teams to ensure complete collaboration and transparency.
• Determines the solution configuration needed to develop, modify, and implement the network architecture and operations that permit the effective sharing and transmission of information among customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• Five years of Network Engineer experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous IT work lead experience is preferred.
• Previous IT experience in government is preferred.

Skills Requirements

• CCNA or CCIE certifications.
• Experience with Cisco Wireless and data center-level networking.
• At least 8+ years of heavy networking experience.
• Government sector experience (preferred).
• A degree in networking (preferred).
