Akkodis is seeking a Graphic Design Lead for a contract position with a client located Sewell, NJ (Mostly remote with weekly/bi-weekly in-person production proofing).
Pay Range: 25-30/HR on W2 The pay rate may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Qualifications:
• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a 4-year design program
• In-progress design portfolio or examples of previous work
• Knowledge of design techniques and trends
• Experience with apparel design is preferred but not required
• Interest in youth sports is preferred but not required

Responsibilities:
• Create custom apparel designs and logos for multiple sports-related tournaments across the
country, specifically youth girls' sports
• Create diverse designs for multiple demographics, specifically age groups, and multiple
different clientele
• Must be comfortable with receiving and interpreting client feedback
• Able to lead the charge on multiple design projects at a time
• Plan a comprehensive design rollout schedule for the busy season with key dates including
initial client meeting, first draft, follow up client meetings, and final approval deadlines
• Work closely with clients to ensure that all needs are being met in a timely manner
• Be the bridge between contracted designers and the company, often giving appropriate
design feedback based on clients’ needs
• Sit in on virtual meetings with multiple people who are not in the design world and be able to
translate design language
• Approves test prints to ensure design is being executed appropriately
• Occasionally attends virtual meetings with clients to understand clear expectations of each
project
Workplace Structure:
• Reports to Operations lead
• Oversees occasional contracted designers
• Communicates with the internal production team, including screen printers, etc.
Possible Opportunities:
