Job Summary:


The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of products and services within the organization. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet both customer expectations and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:


Quality Management System (QMS):


Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System.

Ensure QMS compliance with applicable industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485).

Conduct regular audits and reviews of the QMS and related processes.

Quality Assurance & Control:


Develop and enforce quality control procedures to ensure product and service quality meets defined specifications.

Monitor product and process performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Perform root cause analysis and resolve quality-related issues.

Regulatory Compliance:


Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international regulations and standards.

Prepare and manage documentation for audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.

Team Leadership & Training:


Lead and mentor the quality control and assurance team to ensure high levels of performance.

Develop training programs to ensure employees are knowledgeable about quality standards and procedures.

Customer Satisfaction:


Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, engineering, supply chain) to ensure products meet customer specifications and expectations.

Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality and coordinate with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement:


Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments by utilizing methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management (TQM).

Track quality metrics, analyze data, and develop improvement strategies based on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Reporting & Documentation:


Prepare and present regular quality reports to senior management, highlighting key quality metrics, trends, and improvement plans.

Maintain comprehensive records of quality assurance activities, audits, tests, and inspections.

Required Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a quality management role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and mentoring teams.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in quality management software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:


Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in a related field, a plus

Certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Manager, or equivalent, a plus

Experience in managing quality in regulated industries (e.g., automotive, healthcare, logistics, aerospace).
