Akkodis is seeking an R&D Engineer for a 12-month contract in Plymouth, MN 55442 (Onsite)
Title: R&D Engineer
Location: Plymouth, MN 55442 (Onsite)
Contract: 12 months Contract
Pay Rate : $45-$50/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Working hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Interview preferences: phone screen, bring top candidates for onsite interviews
Job Description:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical or related Engineering degree
• 1-2+ years of engineering experience required in a regulated field Preferred Qualifications:
• 1-2+ years’ experience in med device
• Exposure to a variety of manufacturing processes used in medical devices, specifically deflectable sheaths and/or EP Catheters preferred
• Familiarity with ultrasound, catheter ring-on-wire electrodes, magnetic location systems, and catheter manufacturing techniques
• Worked with an electronic document control system (Windchill, etc.)
• SolidWorks or other CAD experience
Local candidates highly preferred – okay with non-local candidates willing to relocate at their own expense
