Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer

Job Location: Rockford, IL 61104

Job Type: Contract

Job Duties:
* Conducting ultrasound exams (echocardiograms) to create images of the heart, including its chambers, valves, and blood flow.
* Explaining the procedure to patients, positioning them properly on the exam table, and ensuring their comfort during the scan.
* Using specialized ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images and videos of the heart.
* May include transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) or transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), depending on the patient's needs.
* Analyzing the images to assess the heart’s function, identifying abnormalities like valve issues, heart enlargement, or blood clots.
* Reviewing medical history and previous test results to provide context for the current examination.
* Working closely with cardiologists or other medical professionals to interpret the images and assist in diagnosing heart conditions.
* Documenting the findings of the echocardiogram, including measurements and observations, and providing detailed reports for doctors to make treatment decisions.
* Ensuring the ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for accurate imaging.
* Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout the procedure.

Job Requirements:
* BLS from AHA
* ARDMS or CCI
* 1.5+ years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer

Schedule:
* Morning Shift
* 5x8
* 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM
* Monday - Friday
* 40 Hours/Week
