Adams Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is now hiring a Full Time Dental Assistant in Columbus, Georgia!

As a Full Time Dental Assistant, come join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals.

Full Time Dental Assistant Schedule:

Monday through Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm, Friday 7:45am-4:00pm

Responsibilities:
Assist the Dentists chairside
Welcomes patients
Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
Instrument sterilization according to regulations
Maintains accurate patient records
Lab tasks as instructed
Provide post-operative care instructions
Maintain clean and stocked operatories
Qualifications:
Experienced Dental Assistant with a required minimum of 2 years of experience assisting a general dentist in four-handed dentistry
Experienced with taking X-rays, minor & major restorative procedures, taking impressions for dentures-crowns & bridges, fabrication of temp crowns, charting, treatment planning and OSHA & HIPAA Policies
Dental Assistant training/school certification
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Experience with digital software, Dentrix preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills
