The Encompass Group is working with a reputable engineering firm located in the Boca Raton area looking to add a Certified Land Planner to their team. As a Certified Land Planner, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, and public officials to design and implement projects that align with zoning regulations, environmental standards, and community goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive plans for land use and site development, ensuring optimal functionality and sustainability.
• Evaluate zoning ordinances, land use regulations, and environmental constraints to guide project designs.
• Create site plans, maps, and reports using CAD, GIS, and other design software.
• Work closely with government agencies to secure approvals and permits for projects.
• Work with architects, engineers, landscape architects, and surveyors to integrate land planning into broader project goals.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Land Planner (AICP)
• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Land Use Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in land use planning, zoning, or site development.
• Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and other relevant design and analysis software.
• Strong understanding of zoning laws, environmental regulations, and land development practices.
