As an Assembly Operator, you'll play a crucial role in manufacturing high-quality diagnostic instruments used in hospitals and laboratories worldwide. Working in our state-of-the-art facility, you'll align, calibrate, and execute test methods while adhering to our rigorous quality standards and Daily Management principles.
Assembly Operator - Entry Level
(1st Shift) - Hardware
06+ Months Contract Possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute assembly tasks following standard operating procedures with supervision
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate when necessary
- Ensure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations, GMP, and ISO requirements
- Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards
- Identify and recommend quality improvements
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Train new team members as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Fluent English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks with precision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FDA/ISO regulated industries
- Experience with hand tools
- Background in manufacturing or assembly
Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended periods (80% of shift)
- Manual dexterity for precise assembly work
- Ability to reach above shoulder height and below waist
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting
- Capability to handle assembly components repetitively with accuracy
