Construction Estimator Position Summary:

As a Construction Estimator, you’ll play a critical role in the pre-construction process, ensuring budgets, plans, and deadlines are aligned for project success. This position calls for a detail-oriented professional with a knack for organization and thriving under deadlines.

Construction Estimator Responsibilities:

• Analyze project requirements, develop accurate budgets, and provide advisement on construction projects.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and trade partners to align progress drawings with budgets and project scopes.
• Conduct detailed data analyses to support informed project decisions.
• Work with pre-construction and project management teams to hire subcontractors and vendors that meet specifications.
• Maintain an up-to-date industry cost database for reliable forecasting.
• Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management.
• Apply knowledge of project management systems, including scheduling, estimating, and procurement.

Construction Estimator Requirements:

• Knowledge of the construction industry and operations.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and a drive for continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years in construction and/or estimating.
• Ability to work onsite.
