Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our client's Philadelphia-based team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing interior fit-out, renovation, and tenant improvement projects, ensuring client satisfaction and leading teams to successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction planning to project closeout.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project scope, budgets, and schedules.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to meet contractual requirements.
- Lead and coordinate project meetings to ensure effective communication among all stakeholders.
- Monitor on-site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Negotiate contracts, change orders, and manage project documentation, including RFIs and submittals.
- Identify and mitigate risks to maintain project timelines and profitability.
- Foster strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and positive referrals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects, with a focus on interior fit-outs and renovations.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
