Job Title: Project Controls Analyst
Duration: Contract to Hire
Pay Range: $55-$65/hr during contract probationary period
OT: Will pay straight time for hours over 40
- The Senior Project Controls Analyst oversees the creation of project schedules, interpreting tasks from project drawings and work scopes. They provide guidance to the project management team on establishing baseline schedules, managing float, and ensuring successful project outcomes. Additionally, they are responsible for monitoring and controlling the costs associated with engineering labor, expenses, subcontractors, and other outlays during the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction phase, using the company's financial accounting software and reports.Constructs project schedules by estimating manhours.
- Comprehends the project execution plan and records any modifications.
- Facilitates regular project reports on earned value and productivity.
- Designs proposal schedules and aids the estimating team as necessary.
- Assists in monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
- Manages multiple projects concurrently.
- Devises and implements project control and reporting plans in collaboration with the project manager and engineer.
- Supervises the schedule and key milestones for project deliverables.
- Collaborates with the project manager to assess change orders by analyzing reports and identifying potential issues.
- Mentors and guides junior team members to foster their professional development.
- Reviews manpower forecasts.
- Prepares budget adjustments and labor corrections as required, in coordination with the accounting team and colleagues.
- Incorporates approved changes and budget shifts into the project budget.
- Forecasts the project's completion (EAC) based on current expenses, commitments, and project trends.
- Undertakes additional tasks as instructed by the supervisor.
