Our Client in Cherry Hill, New Jersey is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. This is a Hybrid, DIRECT HIRE position, offering $85,000 to $125,000 a year based on experience.

Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with preparing settlement agreements, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in different legal proceedings
• Prepare for and attend trials
• Review medical records
• Evaluate merits of Workers’ compensation claim
• Conduct legal research
• Draft correspondences, pleadings, appeals and appellate briefs
• Draft and respond to written discovery requests
• Represent clients in different legal proceedings
• Build relationships with clients, TPA, insurers and employers
• Assist Attorney in initial case evaluation and development of litigation strategy

Requirements:

• Must have a Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited Law school.
• Previous experience with New Jersey Worker’s Compensation is required
• Must be Admitted to the New Jersey Bar
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar & experience with Pennsylvania Worker’s Compensation is a huge plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and similar computer programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
