Sierra Executive Solutions, Inc. (SES) is a 3rd party search firm recruiting for a hospitality client's 8 room Boutique Hotel Inn Keeper in downtown Truckee, CA. The hiring managers are husband and wife owners of a beautifully remodeled, quaint, historic hotel. The owners are open to considering a new graduate or junior professional desiring to kick-start his/her career in the hospitality field.

Winter is busy season for the hotel and the owners are eager to hire this position urgently.

Opportunity to receive wages + tips if Inn Keeper works special events (bridal parties, family reunions, etc.)

The work location is in downtown Truckee, CA so for those of you who like to ski, it's the perfect location! Close to Lake Tahoe and all the recreation the area offers!

Additionally, the owners are providing housing! There is an apartment attached to the hotel for the hired Hotel Inn Keeper to reside, if desired! The housing provided to the Hotel Inn Keeper will be at a reduced rent.

Daily Duties include:

• Housekeeping
• Checking in/out guests
• Reception/phones
• Customer / Guest Service
• Liaison with room reservations on the website and via phone
• Managing 3rd party reservations (Expedia, Hotels.com, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned related to the operation of the hotel
• Dress code is "Truckee/Mountain Casual"

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality/hotel management, marketing, or business is preferred but not required
• Desire to live and work in Truckee, CA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor and presentation
• Ambitious and self-motivated

Wage is $22 - $24 per hour. 30-40 hours per week. There are no medical insurance benefits provided by the organization at this time.
