Our client has a position for a Procurement Operations Excellence Professional. Initially position will be REMOTE but will be Hybrid 1-3 days in office or more depending on business needs in 2025. NOT LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES THAT ARE CURRENTLY WORKING FOR CONSULTING FIRMS. NOT LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES THAT HAVE MORE THAN 3 JOBS IN THE PAST 5 YEARS.
Reporting to Director Contract Operations, This NEWLY- CREATED position will focus on 2025 procurement operations and developing Long-Term Roadmaps for procurement strategy and process transformation. Will be responsible for;
Managing Contract Updates and Negotiations
Process improvements and transformation (e.g., Strategic sourcing process)
Strategic framework (such as the Supplier Relationship Management program implementation, Category Management
Change management and roll-out of new procurement processes
Systems improvements (such as piloting/supporting implementation of new tools)
Governance and Best Practices
Qualifications
Degree and 10+ years of related procurement process improvement and operations excellence. Construction OR Utility OR Energy experience a plus.
Strategic Sourcing Experience
Supply Chain Experience
Category Management Experience
Managing a team (will have program manager reports)
Familiar with Procurement technologies – S/4 Hana a plus.
