Temp-to-perm - work on-site on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering.
•Experience in performing requirements analysis, derivation, and allocation for systems and subsystems.
•Proven ability to translate complex requirements into viable design solutions within applicable constraints.
•Experience in developing architecture concepts and evaluating alternatives.
•Capable of balancing system design decisions considering system concept of operations (CONOPS), performance, constraints, and logistics concerns.
•Ability to plan, conduct, and document trade studies.
•Experience in generating System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability assessments per program statement of work (SOW).
Preferred Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering.
•Experience with military vehicle systems.
•Experience in logical architecture, including the development of use cases.
•Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML methodology, and tools such as Cameo.
•Knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
•Experience with DOORS requirements management tool.
Certifications (if any):
•INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification is highly preferred.
Education Required:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering.
Education Preferred:
•Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
• Requirements Development & Management: Support the development and management of system requirements, ensuring they are well-defined, allocated, and traced.
• Subsystem & Component Specifications: Develop subsystem and component performance specifications by analyzing and deriving necessary requirements from system-level objectives.
• Verification & Compliance: Develop and maintain verification plans, compliance documentation, and supporting artifacts.
• Architecture Development: Coordinate and facilitate the development of system, subsystem, and component architectures.
• Interface Design: Support the development and maintenance of interface requirements and design information for systems and components.
• Documentation & Concept Design: Document concept design decisions and contribute to the generation of System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability assessments.
• Trade Studies & Decisions: Coordinate and facilitate formal decisions and trade studies, driving design directions and documenting results.
• Cost, Schedule, and Risk Monitoring: Support the monitoring of cost, schedule, and risk factors to ensure project success.
• Systems Engineering Coordination: Influence system design through coordinated systems engineering activities and support vehicle-level engineering efforts and program milestone reviews.
