Position Summary:

This hybrid role combines responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician and a Production Supervisor. The primary focus is on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining production machinery while also overseeing production teams, workflows, and schedules. The successful candidate will ensure machinery operates efficiently, minimize downtime, and maintain high production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Responsibilities (Primary):

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain production equipment (e.g., forklifts, presses, HVAC systems).
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to avoid downtime.
• Assist in the setup and installation of new equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

Production Supervision (Secondary):

• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring schedules and targets are met.
• Train, coach, and motivate production personnel.
• Monitor product quality and perform regular production checks.
• Address and resolve personnel issues in collaboration with HR.
• Maintain safety policies and enforce 5S housekeeping standards.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or technical degree preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years in a manufacturing environment, with experience in maintenance and team supervision.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Effective leadership and coaching abilities.
• Familiarity with safety procedures, production scheduling, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and perform tasks requiring physical exertion.
• Tolerance for moderate noise levels and working in various manufacturing environments.
