Minimum 3 Years experience as a Quality Engineer

Requirements of the Quality Engineer

• Supplier APQP verification
• On-site witness of capacity verifications
• On-site supplier PPAP validation
• Strong background in quality assurance
• Attention to detail,
• Experience in testing methodologies

Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer

• • APQP
• o Identify and Prepare PPAP Submission Packages
• o Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)
• o Dimensional layout and process capability
• o Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plan development
• • Monitor and Maintain Customer Scorecards
• o Timely response to Customer Issues
• o On-site reviews on an as needed basis
• • Support and Drive Improvement to Quality Systems, including:
• o IATF / ISO internal auditing and corrective actions
• o Fast Response
• o Supplier Quality Tracking System (SQTS)
• o Reporting of Quality Metrics such as Cost of Poor Quality and Audit Results
• •
• Lead and/or participate in the resolution of quality issues through identification of root cause and implementation and verification of effective, corrective, and preventive action.
