Job Title: Chief Clinical Officer (Physician Assistant)


About Old Mission Medicine, PLLC:

Old Mission Medicine, PLLC, based in Traverse City, MI, is the parent organization for several healthcare entities, including Old Mission Lifestyle Medicine, Old Mission Aesthetics, Old Mission IV Nutrition, Old Mission Emergency Medicine, and Old Mission Lifestyle. We provide a range of specialized medical services and are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Clinical Officer to join our team.


About the Role:

This is a full-time, hybrid position for a Physician Assistant-Certified to serve as our Chief Clinical Officer. While based in Traverse City, MI, some remote work is possible. This leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our various entities, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving clinical excellence. This position will include a blend of administrative and clinical duties. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced PA with a strong clinical background and a passion for leadership and innovation in healthcare. The CCO will be expected to obtain and maintain licensure in multiple states as needed.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices across all Old Mission Medicine entities.
  • Support clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop strategic plans for clinical growth and expansion.
  • Manage clinical resources effectively, including staffing, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Provide direct patient care as needed, maintaining clinical proficiency.
  • Lead and participate in clinical meetings and committees.
  • Foster a culture of patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant.
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
  • Extensive clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient or primary care setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to manage clinical teams.
  • Strong understanding of clinical operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in Lifestyle Medicine, Aesthetics, IV Nutrition, or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain licensure in multiple states.
