What you'll do:
- Oversee all aspects of claim file management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Implement and drive organizational change initiatives within the claims department.
- Analyze claim trends and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.
- Hire and onboard new team members, providing them with the necessary training and support to succeed.
- Collaborate with other departments, including underwriting, legal, and marketing, to ensure seamless claim resolution.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that values teamwork, accountability, and open communication.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in personal lines claims, with a strong track record of success.
- Proven leadership experience, including the ability to mentor, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Experience with data management and analytics tools.
- A strong understanding of insurance coverage and industry regulations.
